Course/Product Description Title: AutoCAD / AutoCAD LT 2010: Transitioning from 2008 / 2009 Duration: 1 day Description: Course Objectives This course introduces AutoCAD 2010's new features to those using AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2008 or 2009. With the major interface changes in this release, students will become familiar with the new environment as well as understand how to modify it. All of the new production tools will be covered in depth as well as an overview of Annotation Scaling which was released in AutoCAD 2008. Course Topics The following topics will be discussed in the course: User Interface Quick Access Toolbar Ribbons Application Menu Quick View Props Parametric Design Create constraints Parametric Dimensioning Manage Parametrics Annotative Enhancements MTEXT Multileaders Measuring Tools PDF Support Exporting to PDF Overlaying a PDF New Tools VP Rotate Purging Spline Editing Prerequisites This hands on course assumes familiarity with AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2008/2009. It is designed to cover 2D functionality. It will be assumed the students have implemented tools such as multi-leaders and annotation scaling.
